Suspect Arrested for 15 Counts of Sexual Battery

Image
Edward Scott Foster

The Santa Rosa County Sheriff’s Office concluded an investigation yesterday involving a suspect who was charged with 15 counts of capitol sexual battery.

Edward Scott Foster (5-16-1940) was arrested at the Santa Rosa County Sheriff’s Office. Investigators obtained a signed warrant for his arrest. In the warrant, investigators outlined explicit testimony from the victims where the suspect sexually abused multiple victims from 1972 to 1997. These incidents occurred at the suspect’s residence on Eagle Nest Drive in Navarre and also in the surrounding Counties. The victims were all young juveniles.

A search warrant was also executed at the home of the suspect. The details of the case are very graphic. Detectives believe there may be other victims in this case. If anyone has any information about Foster or his activities, we ask them to please contact the Santa Rosa County Sheriff’s Office or Crime Stoppers at 437-STOP. Foster is being held without a bond.

NBT reminds you that Edward Scott Foster is presumed to be innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
